Best Friends is seeking an Adoptions/Outcomes Specialist to connect pets with loving families through exceptional service and relationship-building. You will support adopters with pet histories, medical information, and post-adoption guidance, while helping create a welcoming Lifesaving Center environment.

The role includes coordinating events, fostering positive visitor experiences, and collaborating with teams to promote lifesaving outcomes.

Formación

• High level of customer service with a passion for engaging with people and assisting pet adopters.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including outreach via phone or email.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with shelter operations or animal welfare is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate animal placements by matching adopters with animals and explaining pet histories.
• Provide medical and behavior information to adopters and support retention opportunities.
• Represent Best Friends in social media content and outreach with internal teams.
• Maintain a welcoming environment and deliver exceptional visitor experiences.
• Assist with daily shelter duties and data entry to support lifesaving goals.
