Humane Colorado in Castle Rock is seeking a compassionate team member to support patrons relinquishing animals and contribute to medical and everyday care of shelter animals. You will perform health evaluations, vaccinations, and medication administration while coordinating with other departments.

The role emphasizes customer service, safety protocols, and compassionate communication with the public, volunteers, and clients. Evening/weekend availability is required as per full-time shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Experience with animal welfare or customer service preferred.
• Knowledge of veterinary care or animal health a plus.
• Experience using the Chameleon database preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-level customer service to patrons.
• Provide daily animal relinquishment, stray, and evaluation services.
• Administer vaccinations and medications as directed.
• Handle and restrain animals safely.
• Maintain animal records and coordinate care with other departments.
