Job summary

The Intrepid Group is seeking a PSEP Inspector to conduct pesticide safety inspections and evaluate compliance across secure facilities, laboratories, and grounds-maintenance operations. You will promote safe handling, storage, application, and disposal, and integrate regulatory requirements with risk management to safeguard personnel and mission continuity.

Responsibilities include documenting findings, coordinating corrective actions, and supporting training materials while ensuring adherence

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Entomology, Agronomy, Occupational Safety and Health, Chemistry, or a closely related field.
• Three (3) years of progressively responsible professional experience in pesticide safety, environmental compliance, occupational health & safety, pest management, chemical safety, or related regulator/inspection disciplines.
• Preferred active professional certifications such as CIH, CSP, or QEP.

Responsibilities

• Inspect routine, periodic, and risk-based pesticide storage and use areas and maintain inspection records.
• Evaluate compliance with FIFRA, EPA requirements, and OSHA standards; verify labeling, SDS, and documentation.
• Identify unsafe practices, regulatory deficiencies, and potential exposures; prepare clear inspection reports.
• Support development and review of pesticide safety policies, SOPs, and training materials.
• Coordinate with security, facilities, and contractor teams to ensure inspection findings are addressed.
