Action Termite and Pest Control Inc is seeking a motivated Pest Technician to join our team in Toms River, NJ. You will inspect and treat residential and commercial properties, communicating findings and plans clearly to customers while protecting homes and businesses from pests.

We value hands-on problem solvers who are comfortable around dogs and can navigate pet-friendly environments. A NJ Pesticide Applicator License (or willingness to obtain one) and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in pest control, extermination, or related field preferred.
• NJ Pesticide Applicator License (or willingness to obtain one).
• Comfortable working around dogs and household pets.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily route efficiently.
• Physical ability to perform inspections in crawl spaces and attics.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and commercial pest control inspections and treatments.
• Identify and treat infestations including termites, rodents, insects, and other pests.
• Apply pesticides, baits, and other pest management solutions safely and effectively.
• Communicate findings and treatment plans clearly to customers.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation for each job.
• Navigate pet-friendly environments, including homes with dogs.
• Uphold safety standards and follow state and company regulations for chemical application.
