The Terminix International Company Limited Partnership is seeking a field pest control technician to service commercial environments in New Jersey. You will perform inspections, apply treatments, and implement preventive measures to control pests on client sites.

Responsibilities include educating customers on prevention, building relationships, coordinating schedules, and supporting sales efforts. You will maintain equipment, comply with safety standards, and adapt to variable hours, including

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent education and experience).
• Availability to work Monday–Friday and weekends as needed.
• Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills for following product label instructions.
• Customer-facing experience preferred.
• Ability to drive and operate a vehicle safely; good knowledge of safety regulations.
• Client-focused, self-motivated, with effective time-management and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Identify and eliminate pests from commercial properties through inspections, treatment application, and preventive measures.
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps while adhering to safety standards.
• Educate customers on pest prevention methods and provide guidance on reducing future infestations.
• Build and maintain customer relationships, schedule appointments, and support sales to existing and new customers.
• Maintain, stock, and troubleshoot pest control equipment and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pest control products and safety protocols.
• Operate a company‑provided service vehicle safely and perform routine maintenance as required.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients, deliver quality inspections and treatments, and support clients’ food safety management systems.
• Adapt to variable hours, including weekends, as required by the role.
