Job summary

Orkin is hiring individuals for a hands-on pest-control role in Ohio. You will inspect and install pest protection systems, complete attic and crawlspace services, and perform light carpentry work, while communicating with customers and maintaining equipment.

No prior pest control experience is required as paid training is provided, and you will complete reports using a handheld device.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to obtain a state pesticide license within 90 days (company-paid training).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work safely in attics or crawlspaces.
• Must wear PPE, including an OSHA-compliant respirator, as required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and install pest and home protection systems.
• Complete attic and crawlspace services, including encapsulation and insulation.
• Light carpentry work.
• Communicate clearly with customers.
• Maintain company equipment and complete reports via handheld device.
