Responsibilities

The Orkin Pro commits to safely and professionally providing the highest level of protection and service to customers on a designated service route. Your career begins with in-depth, award-winning training that prepares you with skills for daily route operations, scheduling, issue diagnosis, and treatment planning. You will work to understand customer problems and resolve them effectively.

• Complete our award-winning training to learn the necessary skills and knowledge
• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities
• Follow a route schedule within an assigned territory, ensuring timely and safe arrivals
• Operate a company vehicle safely and maintain cleanliness
• Maintain professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers
• Serve as a problem solver with empathy, understanding customer needs and recommending effective solutions
• Meet with customers to explain actions, ensure satisfaction, and discuss additional services
• Inspect properties’ interior and exterior—training provided!
• Communicate with customers about actions taken and services offered
• Complete all service documentation accurately using provided handheld devices

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• No Experience Required—we’ll train you to be a Pro!
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to obtain pesticide license within 90 days (company paid)
• Ability to work independently in the field, manage routes, and interact with customers inside their businesses and homes

Work Environment

Candidates must meet physical requirements and perform duties safely, with or without accommodations:

• Use ladders within weight limits
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Access crawl spaces, attics, rooftops, etc., including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
• Wear PPE, including OSHA-compliant respirators
• Work in various weather conditions
