Job summary

Orkin is seeking an employee to join as an Orkin Pro, delivering safe, professional pest control services on a designated route. Training is award-winning and provided; no prior pest control experience is required.

You’ll operate a company vehicle, follow schedules, and engage with customers to resolve issues and provide peace of mind. You must be able to obtain a pesticide license within 90 days, have a valid driver’s license, and work independently.

Qualifications

• No Experience Required – we’ll train you to be a Pro.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)
• Ability to work in the field independently, manage route-based assignments and interact with customers inside their businesses and/or homes

Responsibilities

• Complete our award-winning training to learn the skills and knowledge required to serve our customers
• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities
• Follow a route schedule and daily operation schedule within an assigned territory and ensure timely and safe arrival at each customer’s location
• Operate a company vehicle safely and ensure cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment
• Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers
• Meet with customers in their businesses or homes to explain actions taken and ensure satisfaction
• Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s property and explain actions taken
• Complete all required service-related documentation in a handheld device for speed and accuracy
