Job summary

Orkin is hiring a Pest Control Technician - Will Train (Sales) to protect homes and businesses on assigned routes. No prior pest control experience is required; you'll receive award-winning training and start a career with opportunity for growth and competitive earnings.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: No Experience Required – we'll train you to be a Pro!
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to obtain the pesticide license within the first 90 days (company paid)
• Ability to work in the field independently and interact with customers

Responsibilities

• Complete award-winning training to learn skills and knowledge to serve customers
• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities
• Follow a route and daily operation schedule within an assigned territory
• Operate a company vehicle safely and keep it clean
• Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity with customers
• Serve as a problem solver by listening to and understanding customer needs
• Meet with customers to explain actions and discuss additional services
• Inspect the interior and exterior of the property
• Communicate actions taken to customers and discuss the pest management program
• Complete all service-related documentation on a handheld device
