Job summary

Orkin is seeking motivated individuals for field-based pest control roles in Ohio. You’ll receive award-winning training and a company vehicle with a gas card on route assignment, with the potential to exceed $80K in the first year once on commission pay.

No pest control experience is required to start, and a pesticide license is provided within 90 days. The position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career growth within a mission-driven company.

Qualifications

• No Experience Required – we’ll train you to be a Pro!
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to obtain the pesticide license within 90 days (company paid)
• Ability to work in the field independently, manage route-based assignments and interact with customers

Responsibilities

• Complete our award-winning training to learn the skills and knowledge required to serve our customers
• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities
• Follow a route schedule and daily operation schedule within an assigned territory and ensure timely and safe arrival at each customer’s location
• Operate a company vehicle safely and ensure cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment
• Meet with customers in their businesses or homes to explain actions taken, ensure satisfaction, and discuss additional services
• Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s property and teach you how
• Communicate actions taken to customers and discuss additional pest management services
• Complete all required service-related documentation in a handheld device for speed and accuracy
