Job summary

Rentokil North America, Inc. seeks a Pest Control Technician to perform residential pest management, inspections, treatments, and prevention advice. You will interact with clients to address infestations and schedule follow-ups, while complying with safety regulations.

Responsibilities include inspecting properties, applying treatments, educating customers on prevention, and maintaining equipment. A valid driver's license and willingness to learn are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license in state of residence.
• Licenses/certificates as required by regulations (provided by us).
• Available to work Monday–Friday and weekends as needed.
• Open to learning all areas of pest control.
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills to follow product label instructions.
• Customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, to eliminate pests while following safety standards.
• Educate customers on pest prevention methods and reducing future infestations.
• Build relationships with customers, schedule and confirm appointments, and assist with sales to current and new customers.
• Ensure pest control equipment is maintained, stocked, and in good working condition.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pest control products and safety protocols.
• Drive and safely operate a company-provided service vehicle (routine maintenance provided).
