Job summary

Rentokil North America is seeking a Pest Control Technician to perform residential pest management, inspections, and treatments. You will communicate with clients about solutions, maintain safety and equipment, and support related product sales while following regulatory guidelines.

You will work in various settings, indoors and outdoors, often in tight spaces, and wear PPE as required. A valid license and driver’s license are essential, with training provided for safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Licenses/certificates as required by regulations (provided by us).
• Available to work Monday–Friday and weekends as needed.
• Willingness to learn across pest control areas.
• Solid reading, writing and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills to follow product labels.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties for pest signs and entry points.
• Apply approved pest control products (chemicals, baits, traps) safely.
• Educate customers on prevention and pest control solutions.
• Build relationships with customers and assist in selling related products.
• Maintain and stock pest control equipment and tools.
• Comply with local, state and federal safety regulations.
• Drive and operate company-provided service vehicle.
