Pestco Llc is hiring a full-time Pest Control Service Technician in Vancouver, WA. The role focuses on providing effective pest remediation and prevention for residential and commercial sites, with a daily vehicle use and training opportunities.

The position requires a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, strong communication and customer service skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A sign-on bonus of $1,000 is available for licensed candidates.

Responsibilities

• Estimate one-time treatments and ongoing maintenance for customers.
• Complete scheduled appointments on time per company policies and regulations.
• Serve as the subject-matter expert to determine the best pest solution for each customer.
• Maintain safety equipment and keep vehicle, PPE, paperwork and materials in good condition.

Salary Range: $18.00 To $23.00 Hourly

Sign-On Bonus: $1,000 (To qualify for the Sign-On Bonus, must hold an active pest control license)

• $500 will be paid after 30 days of employment
• $500 will be paid after 90 days of employment

Location: Vancouver, WA (Office location is Vancouver, however techs leave from and return home each day in company provided vehicle. Work from office location 2 times a month and while training.)

Key Responsibilities:

A Pest Control Service Technician is responsible for providing pest remediation and prevention solutions to commercial or residential structures. Duties include, without limitation:

• Recommend and provide estimates for one-time treatments and continual maintenance to new and existing customers.
• Complete all scheduled customer appointments on time in accordance with all applicable Company policies and local rules and regulations.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs.
• Use all safety equipment as instructed.
• Maintain professional appearance and equipment in working order including but not limited to vehicle, uniform, application equipment, PPE, paperwork, and literature etc.
• Devote your full attention and time, during working hours, to the performance of your duties and responsibilities as directed by your supervisor and the Company.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong Communication skills effectively through verbal, written and in person.
• Strong customer service and in-person presentation skills.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs and be able to kneel and bend as necessary for a job.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Self-motivated and results driven.
• Valid Driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Pest Control experience preferred but not required.
