Job summary

Aptive Intelligent Pest Control™ is seeking a Pest Control Technician to join our on-road team in Edmonds, WA. This full-time role reports to the Everett, WA office weekly and includes a company vehicle, iPhone, and comprehensive benefits.

You will run a daily local route, apply pesticides per laws, and maintain records while representing Aptive’s proactive pest-control approach. Prior pest experience is not required, and training is provided.

Qualifications

This is an opportunity for a great career with no experience; training provided.
A US driver’s license valid for at least 3 years is required.
A clean driving record is required (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 in the past 4 years).
A drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires.

Responsibilities

Run a daily route resolving customer pest concerns.
Maintain truck and equipment in proper working order.
Keep accurate records of treatments provided.
Mix, apply, and handle pesticides per state and federal laws.
Serve as the subject matter expert for customers and recommend the best pest solution.
Maintain and service route customers according to company standards.
Advise customers of potential problems; inform management of issues.
Maintain inventory of pesticides; route assigned locally.
Carry a ~50 lb product backpack; work includes every other Saturday.
