Job summary

Aptive Environmental, LLC is seeking a hard-working Pest Control Technician to join our team and service customers in the Tacoma area. You will report to our Fife, WA office once per week, handling daily routes and applying pest solutions in accordance with state and federal laws.

This is a full-time role with a competitive hourly wage, uncapped bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life and pet insurance, 401K with company match, paid holidays and PTO.

Qualifications

• No experience is required; on-the-job training provided.
• A US driver’s license that has been valid for a minimum of 3 years.
• A clean driving record (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than two in the past four years).
• A drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires.

Responsibilities

• Run a daily route, resolving customer pest concerns and issues.
• Maintain truck and equipment in proper working order.
• Keep accurate records of treatments provided.
• Mix, apply, and work with pesticides following state and federal laws.
• Act as subject‑matter expert for customers by implementing the most efficient pest solution for each individual need.
• Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards and procedures.
• Advise customers of potential problems.
• Keep management informed of any problems encountered on service routes.
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in use.
• Carry a product backpack that weighs approximately 50 lbs.
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday.
