Job summary

PestCo is seeking a full-time Pest Control Technician in the Dallas, Texas area. You will manage routes, inspect properties, and communicate effective pest control solutions to customers.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and strong customer service skills. Training is provided; benefits include opportunities for growth within a large national company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills in verbal, written and in person.
• Strong customer service and in-person presentation skills.
• Ability to lift to 50lbs and kneel/bend as needed.
• Attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage a pest control route day to day operations.
• Conduct thorough interior and exterior inspections for pests.
• Communicate effective solutions for customer needs.
• Apply pesticides according to schedule, safety procedures and label instructions.
• Safely set and remove rodent traps, wasp, hornet, and bees’ nests.
• Maintain inventory of pesticides and supplies for daily duties.
• Continue learning pest control inspection processes and methods.
• Respond to routine customer questions and concerns promptly.
• Assist with generating new sales leads and estimates for treatments.
• Complete all scheduled appointments on time and in accordance with company policies.
