Job summary

Rentokil North America, Inc. is seeking a Pest Control Technician to perform residential pest management, inspections, and treatments. You will identify pest activity, apply approved products, and advise customers on prevention techniques.

You will work in a customer-facing role, adhere to safety regulations, and maintain equipment while supporting sales efforts. A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Licenses/certificates as required by regulations (provided by us).
• Able to work Monday-Friday and weekends as needed.
• Willingness to learn all areas of pest control.
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills to follow product labels.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of client properties to identify pest signs and entry points.
• Apply pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, safely and effectively.
• Educate customers on prevention methods and long-term pest control.
• Build relationships with customers, schedule/confirm appointments, and assist with sales.
• Maintain pest control equipment and ensure it is stocked and functional.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations and safety protocols.
• Possibly drive a company vehicle to job sites.
