Job summary

Western Exterminator Company, part of the Rentokil North America family, is seeking a Pest Control Technician to perform residential pest management, inspections, and treatments. You will identify pests, apply appropriate products, and advise customers on prevention while maintaining safety standards.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work indoors and outdoors, in various climates, with PPE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Possess a valid driver’s license from your state.
• Licenses/certificates as required by regulations (provided by us).
• Available to work Monday–Friday and weekends as needed.
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills for following product label instructions.
• Customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
• Apply approved pest control products (chemicals, baits, traps) safely and effectively.
• Educate customers on pest prevention and future risk reduction.
• Build relationships with customers, schedule appointments, and assist with sales.
• Ensure pest control equipment is maintained and stocked.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations on products and safety.
• Operate a company-provided service vehicle safely.
