Job summary

Rentokil North America, Inc. seeks a Pest Control Technician to perform residential pest management, including inspections, product applications, and client education. You’ll work with safety protocols and maintain equipment, reporting to the local team in Jackson, MS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination
• Clean shaven face for safety reasons (respirator seal)
• Valid driver’s license
• Willing to work Mondays–Fridays and weekends as needed
• Ability to read and follow product labels and instructions

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points
• Apply pest control products safely according to label directions to effectively eliminate pests
• Educate customers on pest prevention methods and maintain a pest-free environment
• Build relationships with customers, schedule and confirm appointments, and assist with selling products
• Maintain and inspect pest control equipment and the company-provided vehicle
• Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations regarding pest control products and safety protocols
