Job summary

Rentokil North America is seeking a full-time Pest Control Technician to perform residential pest management, including inspections, treatments, and preventative guidance while ensuring safety and clear client communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license from state of residence.
• Licenses/certificates as required by regulations (federal/state/local).
• Available to work Monday-Friday and weekends as needed.
• Willing to learn and grow in pest control.
• Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math for following product label instructions.
• Customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations and entry points.
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, safely.
• Educate customers on pest prevention and how to reduce future risk.
• Build relationships with customers, schedule and confirm appointments, and expand services.
• Maintain pest control equipment, stocking and ensuring proper function.
• Adhere to all regulations and safety protocols for pest control products.
• Operate a company-provided vehicle and perform routine vehicle maintenance.
