Job summary

Action Termite and Pest Control Inc is seeking a motivated Pest Technician to join our team in Toms River, NJ. You will perform residential and commercial inspections and treatments, working closely with our K9s to detect bed bugs and other pests.

The role requires comfort around dogs, strong customer service, and the ability to manage a daily route with safe handling of pesticides and documentation. A NJ Pesticide Applicator License or willingness to obtain one is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in pest control or extermination preferred.
• NJ Pesticide Applicator License or willingness to obtain.
• Comfortable working around dogs and other household pets.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily route.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and commercial pest control inspections and treatments.
• Work directly with K9s to inspect bed bug infestations.
• Identify and treat infestations including bed bugs, termites, rodents, insects, and other pests.
• Apply pesticides, baits, and other pest management solutions safely and effectively.
• Communicate findings and treatment plans clearly to customers.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation for each job.
• Navigate pet-friendly environments, including homes with dogs.
• Uphold safety standards and follow all regulations.
