Job summary

Aptive Environmental is seeking a Service Professional to operate on a road-based pest control route around Williamsburg, VA. This full-time position reports to the Virginia Beach office weekly and offers a strong bonus structure and comprehensive benefits.

The role requires a valid US driver’s license, a clean driving record, willingness to perform drug tests and background checks, and the ability to work outdoors in local areas. Training is provided and advancement opportunities exist.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• A US driver’s license valid for at least 3 years is required
• A clean driving record is required (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than two in the past 4 years)
• A drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires

Responsibilities

• Run a daily route resolving customer pest concerns and issues
• Maintain truck and equipment in proper working order
• Keep accurate records of treatments provided
• Mix, apply, and handle pesticides following state and federal laws
• Serve as the subject matter expert for customers with pest solutions
• Maintain and service all route customers per company standards
• Advise customers of potential problems
• Inform management of route issues
• Maintain inventory of pesticides
• Carry a product backpack weighing about 50 lbs
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday

This is a full-time Pest Control Technician position located on the road in the area around Williamsburg, VA. This position will report to our office in Virginia Beach, VA once per week. The individual we are looking for is also someone that enjoys working in a team environment, and excels working at an individual level.

• Carry a product backpack that weighs approximately 50 lbs
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday
