Job summary

Aptive Environmental is seeking a Pest Control Technician to service routes around St. Louis, MO. This full-time role reports to the St. Louis office weekly and involves safe handling of pesticides, record-keeping, and customer guidance on pest solutions.

The position offers overtime potential, a company vehicle, gas card, and comprehensive health and retirement benefits. Training is provided to start a career in pest control with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• A US driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving history is required.
• Clean driving record with no more than minor violations past 4 years.
• Drug test and background check will be performed.

Responsibilities

• Run daily routes to address customer pest concerns.
• Maintain truck and equipment in good working order.
• Keep accurate records of treatments performed.
• Mix and apply pesticides per state/federal laws.
• Advise customers on the best pest solutions.
• Maintain and service all route customers per standards.
• Inform management of route issues as they arise.
• Maintain inventory of pesticides in use.
• Work on a local route; carry a ~50 lb backpack.
• Schedule includes every other Saturday.

We are seeking a hard-working, innovative, detail-oriented and creative team player to join our Aptive team! This is a full-time Pest Control Technician position located on the road in the area around St. Louis, MO. This position will report to our office in St. Louis, MO once per week. The individual we are looking for is also someone that enjoys working in a team environment and excels working at an individual level.

Responsibilities Include

• Running a daily route where you will be resolving customer pest concerns and issues
• Maintaining truck and equipment in proper working order
• Keeping accurate records of treatments provided
• Mixing, applying, and working with pesticides following state and federal laws
• Serve as the subject matter expert for your customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs
• Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards and procedures
• Advise customers of potential problems
• Keep management informed of any problems encountered on service routes
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in usage
• Please note that you will be assigned a route in your local area
• Carry a product backpack that weighs approximately 50 lbs
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday

Qualifications

• A US driver’s license that has been valid for a minimum of 3 years is required
• A clean driving record is required (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 moving violations in the past 4 years)
