Job summary

Aptive Environmental is seeking a hard-working Pest Control Technician to join our road-based team around Jacksonville, NC. You will report to our Wilmington, NC office once per week.

The position involves daily routes, record-keeping, pesticide application within legal guidelines, and customer-focused solutions in a local area.

Qualifications

• Hard-working, innovative, detail-oriented and creative team player; no experience required, training provided.
• A US driver’s license valid for at least 3 years is required.
• Clean driving record (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than two in the past 4 years).
• Drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires.

Responsibilities

• Run a daily route resolving customer pest concerns and issues.
• Maintain truck and equipment in proper working order.
• Keep accurate records of treatments provided.
• Mix, apply, and handle pesticides following state and federal laws.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for customers by implementing effective pest solutions.
• Maintain and service route customers according to company standards.
• Advise customers of potential problems and keep management informed.

We are seeking a hard-working, innovative, detail-oriented and creative team player to join our Aptive team! This is a full-time Pest Control Technician position located on the road in the area around Jacksonville , NC . This position will report to our office in Wilmington, NC once per week . The individual we are looking for is also someone that enjoys working in a team environment and excels working at an individual level.

$17 - $21an hour

Responsibilities

• Running a daily route where you will be resolving customer pest concerns and issues
• Maintaining truck and equipment in proper working order
• Keeping accurate records of treatments provided
• Mixing, applying, and working with pesticides following state and federal laws
• Serve as the subject matter expert for your customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs
• Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards and procedures
• Advise customers of potential problems
• Keep management informed of any problems encountered on service routes
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in usage
• Please note that you will be assigned a route in your local area
• Carry a product backpack that weighs approximately 50 lbs
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday
