Job summary

HomeTeam Pest Defense is hiring an Orkin Pro to join our award-winning team. You’ll start with paid training and build a long-term career in a recession-resistant industry, protecting homes and businesses from pests while delivering top-tier service on every route.

You’ll inspect properties, educate customers, and upsell services as needed. The role requires a strong work ethic, teamwork, and the ability to work independently in various weather conditions; CDL not required.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)
• Use a ladder safely within the manufacturer’s weight capacity.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator.
