We are seeking a hard-working, innovative, detail-oriented, and creative team player to join our Aptive team! This full-time Pest Control Technician position is based in the San Diego, CA area, with weekly reporting to our San Diego office. Ideal candidates enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.

Compensation and Benefits:

• $19 - $23 an hour

Responsibilities:

1. Manage daily routes to resolve customer pest concerns
2. Maintain truck and equipment in good condition
3. Accurately record treatments provided
4. Handle pesticides responsibly, following all laws
5. Serve as a subject matter expert, providing tailored pest solutions
6. Maintain and service customer routes according to standards
7. Advise customers on potential issues
8. Report problems to management
9. Manage pesticide inventory
10. Work in local areas, carrying a backpack weighing approximately 50 lbs
11. Work every other Saturday

Qualifications:

• No experience necessary; training provided
• Valid US driver’s license for at least 3 years
• Clean driving record (no more than one moving violation in past year, two in past four years)
• Pass a drug test and background check
