Job summary

Pointe Pest Control in Hannibal, MO is seeking a full-time pest control technician to join the PestCo family. You will estimate treatments, schedule appointments, and implement effective pest solutions tailored to each customer's needs.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, strong communication and customer service skills, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Training and licensing support are available where needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; background check and drug screen required.
• Pest control experience or license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide estimates for one-time treatments and ongoing maintenance.
• Schedule and complete appointments on time per company policies.
• Recommend pest solutions tailored to each customer's needs.
• Adhere to safety equipment usage and PPE guidelines.
• Maintain appearance and condition of vehicle, uniform, and equipment.
• Focus on duties during work hours as directed by supervisor.

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Recommend and provide estimates for one-time treatments and continual maintenance to new and existing customers.
• Complete all scheduled customer appointments on time in accordance with all applicable Company policies and local rules and regulations.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs.
• Use all safety equipment as instructed.
• Maintain professional appearance and equipment in working order including but not limited to vehicle, uniform, application equipment, PPE, paperwork, and literature etc.
• Devote your full attention and time, during working hours, to the performance of your duties and responsibilities as directed by your supervisor and the Company.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong Communication skills effectively through verbal, written and in person.
• Strong customer service and in-person presentation skills.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs and be able to kneel and bend as necessary for a job.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Self-motivated and results driven.
• Valid Driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Pest Control experience or Pest Control License (Preferred but no required)
