Job summary

Aptive Environmental, LLC is seeking a hard-working Pest Control Technician to join our road-based team around Lawrence, KS. This full-time role reports to our Lenexa, KS office once per week and suits someone who enjoys teamwork as well as independent work.

Pay is $19.50–$21.50 per hour with uncapped bonuses and a range of benefits including health, dental, and vision plans, a company vehicle, paid training, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training will be provided.
• A U.S. driver’s license valid for at least 3 years.
• Clean driving record (no more than 1 moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 in the past 4 years).
• Drug test and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Run a daily route, resolving customer pest concerns and issues.
• Maintain truck and equipment in proper working order.
• Keep accurate records of treatments provided.
• Mix, apply, and work with pesticides following state and federal laws.
• Serve as the subject‑matter expert for customers by implementing effective pest solutions.
• Maintain and service all route customers per company standards.
• Advise customers of potential problems.
• Keep management informed of problems on routes.
• Maintain inventory of pesticides.
• Carry a ~50 lb backpack.
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday.

This is a full‑time Pest Control Technician position on the road in the area around Lawrence, KS. The position will report to our office in Lenexa, KS once per week. The individual we are looking for enjoys working both in a team environment and at an individual level.

• Carry a product backpack that weighs approximately 50 lbs.
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday.

Qualifications

• No experience necessary; training will be provided.
• A U.S. driver’s license that has been valid for a minimum of 3 years.
• A clean driving record (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than two moving violations in the past 4 years).
• A drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires.
• Will be assigned a route in your local area.
