Job summary

Aptive Environmental is seeking a hard-working Pest Control Technician to service the Murray, UT area on the road. This full-time role reports to the Sandy, UT office once per week and offers a competitive hourly wage along with robust benefits and growth opportunities.

You will work in a team environment and independently, applying pesticides and maintaining equipment while delivering high-quality service to customers in your local area.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• A US driver’s license valid for at least 3 years is required.
• Clean driving record (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than two in the past 4 years).
• Drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires.

Responsibilities

• Run a daily route to resolve customer pest concerns.
• Maintain truck and equipment in proper working order.
• Keep accurate records of treatments provided.
• Mix, apply, and handle pesticides following state and federal laws.
• Serve as the subject-matter expert for customers to implement the most efficient pest solution.
• Maintain and service all route customers per company standards.
• Advise customers of potential problems.
• Keep management informed of issues on service routes.
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in use.
• You will be assigned a local route.
• Carry a 50 lb product backpack.
• Schedule includes every other Saturday.

Service Professional We are seeking a hard‑working, innovative, detail‑oriented and creative team player to join our Aptive team! This is a full‑time Pest Control Technician position located on the road in the area around Murray, UT. This position will report to our office in Sandy, UT once per week. The individual we are looking for is also someone that enjoys working in a team environment and excels working at an individual level.

$19.25 - $21.25 an hour
