Responsibilities

The Orkin Pro provides safe, professional protection and service to customers on a designated route. Your career begins with comprehensive, award-winning training to develop skills in route operations, scheduling, diagnostics, and treatment planning. You will understand customer problems and resolve them effectively.

Key duties include:

  • Complete training to acquire necessary skills and knowledge
  • Prioritize safety in all responsibilities
  • Follow route and daily schedules within your territory, ensuring timely and safe arrivals
  • Operate a company vehicle safely and maintain its cleanliness
  • Maintain professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers
  • Act as a problem solver with empathy, listening to customer needs and recommending effective solutions
  • Meet with customers to explain actions, ensure satisfaction, and discuss additional services for peace of mind
  • Inspect customer properties (training provided)
  • Document all service activities accurately using provided handheld devices

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • No experience necessary — training provided
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to obtain pesticide license within 90 days (company paid)
  • Ability to work independently in the field, managing routes and customer interactions
Work Environment

Candidates must meet physical requirements and perform duties safely, with or without accommodations:

  • Use ladders safely within weight limits
  • Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including climbing and balancing
  • Wear PPE, possibly including OSHA-compliant respirators
  • Work in various weather conditions
