Job summary

Aptive Environmental seeks a Pest Control Technician to service routes around Murfreesboro, TN, reporting to the Nashville office weekly. The role offers a company vehicle, a provided iPhone, uncapped bonuses, and a strong team environment with ongoing training to support career growth.

Responsibilities include driving a daily route, applying pesticides per laws, maintaining equipment, and documenting treatments.

Qualifications

• No experience required; company will train you.
• Valid US driver’s license with at least 3 years of tenure.
• Clean driving record (≤1 moving violation last year, ≤2 in 4 years).
• Drug test and background check required for all hires.

Responsibilities

• Run daily route to resolve customer pest concerns.
• Maintain truck and equipment, keep records of treatments.
• Apply pesticides following state and federal laws.
• Serve customers with efficient pest solutions.
• Keep route customers informed and manage inventory.
• Route assignment in local area; work schedule includes every other Saturday.

We are seeking a hard-working, innovative, detail-oriented and creative team player to join our Aptive team! This is a full-time Pest Control Technician position located on the road in the area around Murfreesboro, TN. This position will report to our office in Nashville, TN once per week. The individual we are looking for is also someone that enjoys working in a team environment and excels working at an individual level.

• $17.50 - $21.50 an hour

Responsibilities Include

• Running a daily route where you will be resolving customer pest concerns and issues
• Maintaining truck and equipment in proper working order
• Keeping accurate records of treatments provided
• Mixing, applying, and working with pesticides following state and federal laws
• Serve as the subject matter expert for your customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs
• Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards and procedures
• Advise customers of potential problems
• Keep management informed of any problems encountered on service routes
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in usage
• Please note that you will be assigned a route in your local area
• Carry a product backpack that weighs approximately 50 lbs
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday

Qualifications

• A US driver’s license that has been valid for a minimum of 3 years is required
• A clean driving record is required (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 moving violations in the past 4 years)
• A drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires
