Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• English language proficiency required.
• Must have a clear driving record as per Texas School Bus Driver requirements.
• Licensed by Texas Dept. of Agriculture for Pesticide Applicator.
• Five years of pest control experience preferred.
• Member of Sports Turf Managers Association preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train Grounds employees and oversee chemical applications on all campuses.
• Maintain training logs for employees applying chemicals under this license.
• Keep accurate records of chemical usage with color label tracking.
• Act as IPM Coordinator and maintain IPM program records.
• Ensure compliance with yearly Structural Pest Control Board inspections.
• Advise Supervisor of Grounds on chemical treatment issues.
• Maintain yearly CEUs for Texas regulations.
• Maintain inventory of products and supplies and work orders for chemical applications.
• Supervise athletic field maintenance and guide Athletic Field Crews.
• Coordinate with coaches and Athletics Department administrators.
