Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in ground applications preferred.
• Ability to comprehend written and verbal English.
• Ability to maintain effective schedules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all district grounds in safe, playable condition.
• Application of herbicides and other pest control chemicals.
• Evaluate special pest control problems and take action.

Skills

Ability to plan and evaluate turf treatments

Knowledgeable in IPM and pest identification

Efficient recordkeeping

Ability to lift 50 pounds

Education

High school diploma or GED

Texas Operator’s License

Texas Department of Agriculture pest applicator license (3A)
