Job summary

Cypress-Fairbanks ISD is seeking a Grounds/IPM supervisor to lead chemical applications and training across district campuses. The role includes maintaining compliance records and coordinating with athletic departments.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in Pest Control preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train Grounds employees and oversee chemical applications at all campuses.
• Maintain training log of all employees making chemical applications under this license.
• Maintain records of chemical use (Red, Yellow, Green labels) in the District.
• Serve as IPM Coordinator when needed.
• Maintain records for the IPM Program and regulatory inspections.
• Ensure compliance with yearly inspections by the Structural Pest Control Board.
• Advise the Supervisor of Grounds on chemical treatment issues.
• Maintain yearly CEUs mandated by the State of Texas.
• Keep inventory of products and supplies and manage work orders.
• Supervise maintenance of all athletic fields and field crews.
• Coordinate with coaches and Athletic Department staff.

Essential Functions

• Train Grounds employees and oversee the application of chemicals at all campuses.

• Maintain accurate records of Red, Yellow, and Green label chemical use in the District.
• Assume the duties of the IPM Coordinator.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for IPM Program.
• Assure compliance with yearly inspections by the Structural Pest Control Board.
• Act as advisor to Supervisor of Grounds on any issues dealing with chemical treatments in the District.
• Maintain yearly CEUs mandated by the State of Texas.
• Maintain an inventory of needed products and supplies.
• Maintain work order records of all chemical applications.
• Supervise the maintenance of all athletic fields within the District.
• Provide guidance and supervision to Athletic Field Maintenance Crews.
• Work in close communication with coaches and Athletic Dept. administrators.
• Assist Supervisor of Grounds in any capacity needed.
