Job summary

Orkin is hiring a Pest Control Service Technician (Will Train) to join a long-standing team. You will train through an award-winning program, operate a company vehicle, and deliver pest management solutions.

No industry experience required; you will obtain pesticide license within 90 days. Route-based daily work in Hartford, CT, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave.

Qualifications

• No industry experience required; we train you to be a Pro.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to obtain pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently, manage route-based assignments and interact with our customers.
• We will comply with state and local laws in employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate daily pest control service routes under training.
• Drive a company vehicle and follow a route schedule.
• Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and discuss additional services.
• Serve as a problem solver to determine the most effective pest solution for each customer.
• Complete service-related documentation with handheld device.
