Rollins, Inc. through its Orkin Pro program is hiring in Santa Monica, CA. No industry experience is required; you’ll receive extensive paid training and operate a company vehicle on the route. This is a hands-on role focused on protecting customer properties and growing your pest-control career.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid).

Responsibilities

• Complete award-winning training to learn the skills and knowledge required to serve customers.
• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
• Follow a route schedule and ensure timely and safe arrival at each customer’s location.
• Operate a company vehicle safely and maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment.
• Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
• Serve as a problem solver for each customer, listening to and understanding their needs and recommending the most efficient and innovative solution.
• Meet with customers in their businesses or homes to explain actions taken, ensure satisfaction and discuss additional services.
• Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s property.
• Communicate with customers to explain actions taken, ensure satisfaction and discuss additional services.
• Complete all required service-related documentation in a handheld device for speed and accuracy.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
