Job summary

Mentor Technical Group is seeking a Pest Control Technician to oversee the pest control program managed by an outsourced company. The role involves identifying opportunities, recommending actions, and tracking work orders while ensuring strict adherence to SOPs, GMP, and EHS requirements.

You will monitor contractor performance, maintain records, and collaborate with internal teams to optimize pest control strategies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; pest control field education is a plus.
• Associate degree in a technical field is preferred.
• Experience in pest control or related field is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with pest control management software.
• Knowledge of SOPs, GMP and EHS requirements is a plus.
• Valid pest control certification/license preferred but not required; willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee pest control program managed by outsourced company.
• Identify opportunities and provide expert recommendations.
• Track and manage work orders related to pest control initiatives.
• Execute pest control work orders and initiatives as required.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP and EHS requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of pest control activities and findings.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure effectiveness.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to optimize strategies.
• Provide training and guidance on pest control best practices.
