Job summary

Mentor Technical Group in Puerto Rico is seeking a Pest Control Technician to oversee our pest control program managed by an outsourced partner. You will identify opportunities, provide recommendations, and ensure work orders are tracked and executed in alignment with SOPs, GMP, and EHS requirements.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, the ability to work independently and with teams, and effective communication with vendors and internal staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in pest control or related field is a plus.
• Associate degree in technical field is preferred.
• Prior experience in pest control or a related field is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using pest control management software and tools.
• Knowledge of SOPs, GMP, and EHS requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee the pest control program executed by an outsourced company.
• Identify and assess pest control opportunities and provide expert recommendations.
• Track and manage work orders related to pest control initiatives.
• Execute pest control work orders and initiatives as required.
• Ensure compliance with site SOPs, GMP, and EHS requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of pest control activities and findings.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure pest control measures are effective.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to optimize pest control strategies.
• Provide training and guidance on pest control best practices to staff as needed.
