Job summary

The Shield Co. Management / EcoShield Pest Solutions is seeking a Branch Sales Professional in Buffalo Grove, IL to drive revenue growth by selling pest control solutions and building long-term relationships with customers.

You will identify customer needs, present tailored options, and conduct inspections to support proposals while maintaining a company vehicle and meeting safety policies.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of related experience or training in sales.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license and a 3+ consecutive years of driving history as driving a company vehicle is an essential function of the role.
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, kneel, crouch, and crawl to access tight spaces like basements, attics, crawl spaces and other tight spaces.
• Earn and maintain state-required training and pest control licensing if applicable (provided).

Responsibilities

• Sell additional pest control services to customers via warm leads, cold calls and onsite visits.
• Conduct inspections to identify infestations, or conditions conducive to infestations, to make proposals and presentations to obtain sales contracts.
• Respond to and work assigned sales leads within the branch and/or territory while proactively generating additional pest control and related service opportunities.
• Prepare appropriate job specifications and treating instructions in accordance with existing laws, regulations, and company policy.
• Regularly operate and maintain a company vehicle while keeping the vehicle and other equipment in clean and working order, while adhering to the company Vehicle Policy.
