Orkin is hiring a hands-on Pest Control Technician in Plainfield, IL. You will inspect and install pest and home protection systems as part of a technician crew, and perform attic or crawlspace services, including encapsulation.

No prior pest control experience is required—paid training will prepare you for success. You’ll receive a company vehicle, a fuel card, a mobile device, and comprehensive benefits plus paid training and tools provided to support your growth within a recession-resistant

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience using a metal brake to bend or shape metal components.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and install pest and home protection systems.
• Work collaboratively on a crew of technicians to complete a job.
• Complete attic and crawlspace services, including encapsulation and insulation.
• Light carpentry work.
• Communicate clearly with customers.
• Maintain company equipment and complete reports via handheld device.
