Orkin in San Diego is seeking motivated individuals to join a renowned pest-control team. No industry experience is required, as you’ll receive award-winning training and a clear path to professional growth while protecting homes and businesses.

As an Orkin Pro you’ll drive a company vehicle, learn routes, prioritize safety, and deliver high-quality service with integrity. The role offers competitive hourly pay ($21–$23) plus comprehensive benefits and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• No experience required—we’ll train you to be a Pro.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain pesticide license within the first 90 days (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments.

Responsibilities

• Complete our award-winning company paid training and learn the skills required to be responsible for the daily operation of a pest control service route to become a Pro.
• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
• Drive a company vehicle and follow a route schedule within assigned territory, ensuring timely and safe arrival at each customer.
• Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
• Serve as a problem solver for each customer with empathy by listening to their needs and utilizing Orkin Pro expertise to recommend the most efficient and innovative solution.
• Prepare and install home or business services (attic remediations, crawlspace encapsulations, gutter protection, radiant heat barrier).
• Interact with customers in their home or business by setting project expectations and walking them through the process to ensure satisfaction.
• Complete all required service-related documentation with the handheld device for speed and accuracy.
