Job summary

EcoShield Pest Solutions is hiring an Additional Services Technician to provide specialized pest control and home protection services, including termite treatments, mosquito control, insulation installation, exclusion work, and other pest management solutions. This role combines hands-on service with excellent customer care, ensuring accurate documentation and safe, efficient operations.

You will inspect and maintain vehicles and equipment, explain treatment plans to customers, and follow routes

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Familiarity with construction-related tasks and safe use of ladders and power tools.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and have 3+ consecutive years of driving history.
• State-required training and pest control licensing if applicable (provided).

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized pest control services, including termite control, mosquito treatments, insulation installation, exclusion work, and other additional service offerings.
• Complete initial indoor and outdoor pest control applications for new customers with a focus on quality, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by explaining treatment plans, service features, and benefits while addressing customer questions and concerns.
• Follow assigned service routes and schedules, coordinating effectively with office staff and management to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Maintain accurate and organized customer, service, and appointment records using company technology and systems.

• Possess a valid driver’s licence and have 3+ consecutive years of driving history as driving a company vehicle is an essential function of the role.
• Earn and maintain state‑required training and pest control licensing if applicable (provided).

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package. This position offers an hourly base pay range of $18.00 - $21.00, plus additional compensation opportunities. Please note that actual earnings beyond base pay will vary based on sales.

Physical Demands And Working Requirements

• Capable of regularly lifting up to 50 pounds, with occasional heavier lifting.
• Requires clear vision for both close and distant tasks, with adjustable focus.
• Must be able to stand for long periods, perform physical tasks, and manage repetitive motions.
• Exposure to pesticides, chemicals, pests, mold, allergens, and structural hazards; safety gear required.
• Moderate noise level in the work environment.
