Qualifications

• 1 year minimum customer service experience, with mechanical aptitude and comfort with ladders and power tools.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Valid driver’s license with 3+ years of driving history; driving company vehicle required.
• State-required pest control training/licensing if applicable (provided).

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized pest control services including termite and mosquito treatments, insulation installation, and exclusion work.
• Complete initial indoor/outdoor pest control applications for new customers with focus on quality and safety.
• Explain treatment plans, service features, and benefits to customers; address questions and concerns.
• Follow service routes/schedules; coordinate with office staff to ensure efficient delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of customers, services, and appointments using company systems.
• Inspect and maintain vehicles, equipment, and PPE to ensure safe operations.
• Promote customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service and adhering to standards.

Position Summary

The Additional Services Technician provides specialized pest control and home protection services, including termite treatments, mosquito control, insulation installation, exclusion work, and other pest management solutions. This role combines hands‑on service delivery with exceptional customer care, ensuring high‑quality results, accurate documentation, and safe, efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized pest control services, including termite control, mosquito treatments, insulation installation, exclusion work, and other additional service offerings.
• Complete initial indoor and outdoor pest control applications for new customers with a focus on quality, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by explaining treatment plans, service features, and benefits while addressing customer questions and concerns.
• Follow assigned service routes and schedules, coordinating effectively with office staff and management to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Maintain accurate and organized customer, service, and appointment records using company technology and systems.
• Inspect and maintain company vehicles, equipment, and personal protective gear to ensure safe and effective operations.
• Promote customer satisfaction by consistently delivering high‑quality service and adhering to company standards and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least 1 year of customer service experience, coupled with mechanical aptitude and familiarity with construction‑related tasks, such as operating ladders and power tools safely and effectively.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 3 consecutive years of driving history; driving a company vehicle is an essential function of the role.
• Earn and maintain state‑required training and pest control licensing if applicable (provided).

Physical Demands and Working Requirements

• Capable of regularly lifting up to 50 pounds, with occasional heavier lifting.
• Requires clear vision for both close and distant tasks, with adjustable focus.
• Must be able to stand for long periods, perform physical tasks, and manage repetitive motions.
• Exposure to pesticides, chemicals, pests, mold, allergens, and structural hazards; safety gear required.
• Moderate noise level in the work environment.
