Job description

Personnel Security Specialist

Location: Pentagon, VA

Pay: From $90,000 Per Year

MUST HAVE:

• Personnel Security Specialist with TS/SCI clearance
• 5+ years of experience in Security
• Recent experience supporting DoD office environments
• Proficiency with MS Office, Word, and Excel
• Experience with ITMS Fuller Account, CMIS, DISS, AAM PORTAL, PerSec View, and ESPS/SAM
• Ability to research and analyze personnel files, extract information, and respond accurately according to security regulations
• Experience monitoring compliance, providing guidance, investigating violations, and developing mitigation plans (highly desired)
• High School Degree or Certificate

DUTIES:

1. Assist the Government with inquiries regarding case status, program information, policies, and procedures, including in and out-processing.
2. Establish productive relationships with the customer base, ensuring high-quality customer satisfaction.
3. Create, maintain, update, and review subject records.
4. Exercise sound judgment and discretion in responding to inquiries.
5. Provide guidance on security clearance and investigative requirements.
6. Support government representatives with personnel case management, considering the sensitivity of cases.
7. Assist with additional tasks as directed by the Program Manager.
