Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Senior Personnel Security (PERSEC) SME to support a dynamic program for a US Government customer. The role involves audits, training, and developing PERSEC plans, with a focus on safeguarding personnel and assets across a long‑running program in the national security space.

You will interact with multiple government agencies and contractors, maintain security records, and drive the clearance process.

Qualifications

• Must hold TS/SCI and Poly to be considered
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
• Minimum 14 years of personnel security experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and government security databases
• Knowledge of Federal security regulations (SEAD 4, NISPOM)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with government leadership
• Proven experience developing and implementing PERSEC security plans and procedures
• Excellent PERSEC investigative and analytical skills
• Experience supporting Intelligence Community (IC) customers
• Familiarity with clearance processing activities for Government agencies

Responsibilities

• Perform high accuracy data entry and maintain accurate security records and databases
• Communicate with Government agencies, contractors and team members
• Manage multiple tasks and deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
• Receive, process, and manage NDAs, continuous enrollment forms, and other required documentation
• Communicate effectively with Government agencies and contractors to facilitate the clearance process
• Conduct PERSEC security audits and ensure compliance
• Provide PERSEC security training and awareness to personnel on security topics
• Develop and implement PERSEC Security Plans and procedures
• Monitor and evaluate PERSEC incidents, investigations and reports for improvements
• Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
