Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Personnel Security Analyst to join our team in DMV area. Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

The Personnel Security Analyst is responsible for executing personnel security (PERSEC) functions. They compile daily logs for a variety of administrative functions. They maintain an extensive customer database, point-of-contact listing, and perform and review database entries, maintaining all customer-sponsored billets and quota information. The Personnel Security Analyst II maintains personnel security files for all personnel of the supported element. They build, maintain, and review tracking spreadsheets and databases for customer PERSEC activities and are responsible for execution of the customer’s SOPs. They execute security awareness and education programs and perform miscellaneous administrative support functions. The Personnel Security Analyst plays a crucial role in safeguarding personnel and assets from potential security risks. The Personnel Security Analyst is a journeyman role, conducting background investigations and risk assessments along with other duties associated with organizational personnel security. The Personnel Security Analyst II takes direction from the Personnel Security Manager.

Basic Qualifications :

High School and 4 years of additional experience or Associate's Degree and 2 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree

A candidate holding a relevant Master’s degree may be granted 2 years’ experience credit for that extra education. A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years’ experience credit for that extra education.

2 years of position-specific relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications :

Personnel Security Management (PSM) Certification, Certified Protection Officer (CPO)

Clearance Requirements :

Must be a US Citizen

Must have an active Top Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements :

The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations
