Job summary

East Penn Manufacturing Company, Inc. is seeking a Learning & Development Administrative Support professional to join our growing L&D team.

In this role, you will manage training data, coordinate department activities, create impactful visual reports, and help ensure our workforce receives the training needed to succeed. As part of the team, you will input training completions into company systems, support reimbursement programs, and assist with special projects and process improvements.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2-5 years of experience supporting a department, business process, administrative function, or related area.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Appreciation for the value and importance of employee training and development.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule meetings and prepare minutes for Learning & Development initiatives and committees.
  • Track and maintain employee training records across systems.
  • Collect, analyze, and visually present training data using charts and PPT presentations.
  • Develop statistical reports showing training participation, knowledge growth, program progress, and training effectiveness.
  • Create and maintain training forms through change request and approval processes.
  • Run training and attendance reports and maintain training databases and records.
  • Input training completions and corporate learning activities into company systems.
  • Support training reimbursement programs through application processing and documentation collection.
  • Monitor, archive, and maintain training documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with Manufacturing Skills Training documentation and pay administration.
  • Support special projects, process improvements, and department initiatives.
  • Serve as a positive ambassador for Learning & Development.

Responsibilities

As a member of the Learning & Development team, you will help support and enhance training programs across the organization through data management, reporting, coordination, and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule meetings, collect notes, and prepare meeting minutes for Learning & Development initiatives and committees.
  • Learn and utilize multiple training and reporting systems to track and maintain employee training records.
  • Collect, compile, analyze, and visually present training data using charts, graphs, PowerPoint presentations, and other reporting tools.
  • Develop statistical reports showing training participation, knowledge growth, program progress, and training effectiveness.
  • Create and maintain training forms through established change request and approval processes.
  • Run training and attendance reports and maintain training databases and records.
  • Input training completions and corporate learning activities into company systems.
  • Support training reimbursement programs through application processing, documentation collection, tracking, and submission.
  • Monitor, scan, archive, and maintain training documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support Manufacturing Skills Training initiatives, including documentation related to employee progression and pay administration.
  • Assist with special projects, process improvements, and other department initiatives.
  • Serve as a positive ambassador for Learning & Development by helping deliver an exceptional learning experience for employees.
Qualifications
Education & Experience

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred:

  • 2-5 years of experience supporting a department, business process, administrative function, or related area.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Appreciation for the value and importance of employee training and development.
