Salus Homecare is seeking Personal Care Assistant/Caregivers to join our team across multiple shifts in the Valley and surrounding areas. You will provide companionship, assist with daily living activities, and transport clients as needed, with attention to safety and HIPAA confidentiality.

Open positions include morning, afternoon, overnight, and weekend hours. Candidates must have CA HCA certification or be willing to obtain it, pass a TB test, and meet legal employment requirements.

Qualifications

• CA Homecare Aide Certification (HCA) required; Livescan fingerprint and FBI background check process assistance available.
• TB test within 90 days of start.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the USA.
• Physical capability to perform all job functions.
• Safe driving record and valid auto insurance if driving.

Responsabilités

• Provide companionship to clients.
• Arrive to clients' home on time.
• Assist with personal care activities: bathing, oral hygiene, meal prep/feeding, dressing, ambulation.
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, activities.
• Turn and reposition patients in bed or chair.
• Demonstrate flexibility to meet client needs.
• Maintain client confidentiality per HIPAA standards.
• Notify office of any abnormal findings or conditions.
• Represent Salus Homecare positively.

We are currently looking for Personal Care Assistant/Caregivers looking to fill multiple cases: Mornings, Afternoons, Weekends and Overnights in the following areas in the Valley North Hollywood, Van Nuys, Panorama City, Pacoima, Sylmar, Arleta, Mission Hills, North Hills, Sun Valley, Granada Hills, Chatsworth, Northridge, Canoga Park, Winnetka and more surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Serving as a companion to clients
• Arrives to clients home on a timely manner.
• Assist clients with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, preparations and feeding of meals, dressing and undressing, ambulation and other activities as needed
• Transporting clients to and from appointments, errands, activities, etc.
• Turning, repositioning and move patients between beds, wheelchairs and seats
• Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in meeting the needs of the client
• Maintains confidential of all clients information according to HIPPA standards
• Notifies the office of any abnormal findings or conditions
• Represents the company with a positive image at all times

Personal Attendant Qualifications

• Homecare Aide Certification (HCA) - This is a CA State requirement which involves registering as a Personal Attendant and providing Livescan fingerprints for a FBI Background check - Salus can help you with this process if you are not currently certified.
• TB Test - Must be within 90 days of start
• Must be able to legally work within the USA
• Physical capability to preform all job functions
• Safe driving record and valid auto insurance if you will be driving with clients

FULL TIME 8-12HRS SHIFTS AVAILABLE (Pay Rate $19.00-$20.00)
