Job summary

Salus Homecare - San Gabriel Valley is seeking Personal Care Assistants/Caregivers for multiple cases in Pasadena, Arcadia, and surrounding areas. Positions include mornings, afternoons, weekends, and overnights with part-time shifts available.

Responsibilities include companionship, timely home visits, personal care assistance, transportation, and helping clients stay safe. Certifications, background checks, and driving eligibility are part of the requirements; benefits and flexible hours are

Qualifications

• Homecare Aide Certification (HCA) required by CA state, helps with Livescan/FBI background check
• TB Test within 90 days of start
• Must be able to work legally in the USA
• Physical capability to perform all job functions
• Safe driving record and valid auto insurance if driving with clients

Responsibilities

• Serve as a companion to clients
• Arrive to clients' home in a timely manner
• Assist with personal care activities (bathing, oral hygiene, meals, dressing, ambulation)
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, activities
• Turn, reposition and move patients between beds, wheelchairs, and seats
• Demonstrate flexibility to meet client needs
• Maintain confidentiality of client information per HIPAA standards
• Notify office of any abnormal findings or conditions
• Represent the company with a positive image at all times

We are currently looking for Personal Care Assistant/Caregivers looking to fill multiple cases: Mornings, Afternoons, Weekends and Overnights in the following locations in San Gabriel Valley Glendale, Pasadena,South Pasadena,Arcadia,San Marinoand more surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Serving as a companion to clients
• Arrives to clients home on a timely manner.
• Assist clients with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, preparations and feeding of meals, dressing and undressing, ambulation and other activities as needed
• Transporting clients to and from appointments, errands, activities, etc.
• Turning, repositioning and move patients between beds, wheelchairs and seats
• Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in meeting the needs of the client
• Maintains confidential of all clients information according to HIPPA standards
• Notifies the office of any abnormal findings or conditions
• Represents the company with a positive image at all times

Personal Attendant Qualifications:

• Homecare Aide Certification (HCA) - This is a CA State requirement which involves registering as a Personal Attendant and providing Livescan fingerprints for a FBI Background check - Salus can help you with this process if you are not currently certified.
