Job summary

Salus Homecare – Los Angeles is seeking Personal Care Assistants/Caregivers to fill multiple cases in West Los Angeles and surrounding areas, including mornings, weekends and overnights. Flexible hours available with part-time and full-time shifts.

Responsibilities include companionship, timely home visits, personal care, mobility assistance and driving clients to appointments. Applicants must have HCA certification, pass a TB test within 90 days, be legally eligible to work in the USA, and

• Companionship and daily living assistance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a companion to clients.
• Arrive to clients' home on time.
• Assist with personal care activities (bathing, hygiene, meals, dressing).
• Transport clients to appointments and errands.
• Turn and reposition patients as needed.
• Demonstrate flexibility to meet client needs.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information.
• Notify office of any abnormal findings or conditions.

Responsibilities

• Serving as a companion to clients
• Arrives to clients home on a timely manner.
• Assist clients with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, preparations and feeding of meals, dressing and undressing, ambulation and other activities as needed
• Transporting clients to and from appointments, errands, activities, etc.
• Turning, repositioning and move patients between beds, wheelchairs and seats
• Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in meeting the needs of the client
• Maintains confidential of all clients information according toHIPPA standards
• Notifies the office of any abnormal findings or conditions
• Represents the company with a positive image at all times

Personal Attendant Qualifications:

• Homecare Aide Certification (HCA)- This is a CA State requirement which involves registering as a Personal Attendant and providing Livescan fingerprints for a FBI Background check - Salus can help you with this process if you are not currently certified.
• TB Test- Must be within 90 days of start
• Must be able to legally work within the USA
• Physical capability to preform all job functions
• Safe driving record and valid auto insurance if you will be driving with clients
